Each individual apartment has its own independent Exhaust System, which is not connected to the main building exhaust system.

Toilet / Bathroom Exhaust System

The bathroom, en-suite (if applicable), and laundry of your apartment are mechanically ventilated by an extraction fan mounted in the ceiling space.

• This fan is automatically activated when the main light in these rooms is switched on.
• After vacating the room, simply turn the light switch off.
• The fan will remain on for another 3-4 minutes to clear any excess moisture and then switch off automatically.
• Please note that whenever a light is turned on in either of these rooms, the fan will run and ventilate the space.

Kitchen Rangehood System

The kitchen area is serviced by a dedicated ducted exhaust system which has been designed to remove heat, steam, and odors within your apartment.

• Ventilation for the Rangehood is activated by sliding the panel outwards.
• The expelled air is taken out of the apartment by independent ducts in the ceiling space. These are entirely separate from the ducts used by your bathroom exhaust system.
